Panel bits were created to be used with a pilot guide to assist when cutting out holes in thin panels. This specific bit features a stagger design to the cutting edge along with a center template guide.

  • TOOL SPECS: Carbide-tipped, 1+1 flute, staggertooth panel bit with center pilot 1/2" cutting diameter, 1/2" shank, and 4-1/4" overall length for use with 1/2" collets. Includes a full 2-7/8" cutting length (1" cut length on tip of bit, 5/8" long center pilot, and 1-1/4" cut length near shank).
  • APPLICATION: Designed specifically for window and door cutouts in industrial markets, RV manufacturing, and construction. For use in a factory setting or on the jobsite. Handheld router only.
  • CENTER PILOT GUIDE: Features a solid steel pilot guide for following panels, framing, or templates. The guide is in the center of the tool allowing for cutting on both sides of the guide at once. Ensures a clean, straight cut that matches the shape being cut out.
  • 1+1 FLUTE DESIGN: The 1+1 flute design provides exceptional tool strength with the extra-long 2-7/8" cut length of this tool.
  • CARBIDE TIPPED: Premium, micro grain carbide provides longer tool life while the rigid steel shank adds strength and durability.
