This bit offers a safe and economical way to make that optional backside cut on raised panels. It is suitable for use with any of our Stile and Rail bits. The bit can also be used as a shallow raised panel bit for smaller projects. Manufactured with a 1-3/4” large diameter and a 1/2” shank.
- TOOL SPECS: Carbide-tipped raised panel or back cutter bit with 1-3/4" large diameter, 1/2" cutting length, 1/2" shank, and 2-1/4" overall length for use with 1/2" collets.
- MINIATURE RAISED PANEL: Ideal for creating shallow raised panels on smaller projects. Also acts as a back cutter on traditional raised panels.
- RAISED PANEL BACK CUTTER: Ideal for creating an optional backside on raised panel doors. Compatible with any of Whiteside's standard Stile and Rail Bits.
- APPLICATIONS: Great for creating raised panels on smaller wood pieces, like jewelry boxes or small cabinet doors, adding a custom, elegant touch.
- BEARING GUIDE: The bearing guide on the tip of the tool allows for easy routing along the edge of the workpiece.
